Integrity Toys Introduces the FR:16 Doll Line at IDEX

Integrity Toys have unveiled an unprecedented number of dolls and doll lines at this weekends IDEX show. Amongst the usual Fashion Royalty, Poppy Parker and Nu Fantasy dolls was the brand new FR:16 line of 16″ fashion dolls. The 1/4 scale doll fraternity, as well as enthusiastic Integrity Toys fans, have long anticipated the unveiling of the FR:16 line which is IT’s latest attempt at the 16″ doll market.  Their last line, the AdventGuards, a line of cutting edge 16″ dolls were a moderate success which eventually fizzled out. The FR:16 dolls take their name from their smaller 12″ sisters and do attempt to tie the lines together by putting them in the same story line universe. These gals run a fashion mag called “The Wall” which, as expected, is a runaway success and a must have for any self-respecting fashionista.

There are 4 dolls in all in the début line in a range of ethnicities and face sculpts. My personal favourite is the gorgeous Latino Freja Mossimo who, according to the publicity lore, is art director for “The Wall” magazine. Her outfit is possibly not the most inspiring (all the girls outfits are just OK) but her sculpt is a chiseled beauty and her accessories and shoes are wonderful. Needless to say I have made my pre-order!

Dynamite Girls / Integrity Toys

The Dynamite Girls (and Boy) are hitting the City

The Dynamite Girls by Integrity Toys are going all Urban for their Fall line of dolls. These crazy gals seem to have added a new boy to the group, Curt, along the way too. Mighty fine they look too with a retro 70′s, Taxi Driver vibe. Jasper’s look, especially, seems to be channelling actress Joedy Foster in her most infamous role!

These new urbanites are certainly proving popular too, with Curt especially, selling out on pre-sale at several online vendors. With his looks its little wonder!

The Poppy Parker W Club Exclusive 2011

Sweet Confection Poppy ParkerIntegrity Toys W Club recently announced their second exclusive doll, and this time it’s a Poppy Parker! For anyone who loves Poppy’s vintage vibe, you will not be disappointed as she is a real beauty. With lot’s of accessories too (drool…). Here’s the official blurb:

Doll collectors everywhere have found that they have fallen in love with everyone’s favorite teen model…Poppy Parker!  When a new Poppy is unveiled by Integrity Toys, you can be sure that this doll will sell out before the end of the day.  The W Club has offered members a variety of Exclusive W Club dolls in previous years like Fashion Royalty, Nu.Face and AG dolls.  But, never before have our members been offered their very own Exclusive W Club Poppy Parker… until now.  From posts in the W Club forum, we know that everyone has been anxiously awaiting the next 2011 Exclusive W Club doll, and here she is!

Sweet Confection Poppy Parker is a delicious dish wearing a darling turquoise and white chiffon mini dress with belted bow and button accents.  She wears lace tights and turquoise shoes that match her lovely dress.  Her “leather” white coat protects her from the chill of spring morning.  Topping off her frothy look is a pair of mod white sunglasses, chiffon head scarf and delicate jewelry.   What a lovely treat!

“Sweet Confection” Poppy has platinum blonde hair and beautiful turquoise blue eyes.  Poppy has applied lashes and due to popular request, Poppy comes in a lovely sunkissed tan skin tone.  This Poppy is extra special because this is the very first time that Poppy has been available in this fabulous skin tone.  After all, it’s still summer!

Breakfast at Tiffany’s with Integrity

Cropped screenshot of Audrey Hepburn from the ...

Image via Wikipedia

This morning at Integrity Toys W Club breakfast time webinar there was a grand unveiling of a brand new line of dolls tied to the movie classic, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Suddenly the breakfast time event made sense (well breakfast for those of you in the east of the planet!).

Now BAT happen to be one of my favourite films, not least because of the devastating beauty and iconic performance by its leading lady, Audrey Hepburn in her role as the kooky, gal about town, Holly Golightly. The doll boasts a brand new sculpt and for the first time feet made just for kitten heels à la Miss Hepburn in the original movie.

The webinar gave a fascinating insight into the way the collection was researched and put together and I for one am looking forward to its release.  The dolls also boast a miriad of authentic accessories which were painfully researched and manufactured including the mask Hepburn wore for the ‘five and dime’ scene. The webinar also revealed that dress for the doll representing this scene was made as a result of a candid on set photo as it is hardly seen in the real movie. Now that’s dedication to authenticity!

Conventions / Doll Shows / Fashion Royalty / IFDC / Integrity Toys / W Club

Sneak a peek at the Integrity Toys IFDC 2011 exclusive dolls!

IFDC just had their convention in Las Vegas where they unveiled their Official Convention Souvenir and Companion Dolls, available exclusively to convention attendees.  The theme at this year’s convention was “The Wizard of Oddz!” and the convention dolls were inspired by the classic story of Dorothy Gale and her little dog Toto.  Here is an exclusive look at the Integrity Dolls designed specially for the convention.

Go Home! 2011 IFDC Convention Souvenir Doll. Limited Edition of 300 Dolls Worldwide

This little lost girl from the mid west wears a floral printed satin and gingham dress with white organza inset on the sleeves.  She wears a long sleeve t-shirt and striped leggings that will definitely attract some attention on her journey.  The red patent leather belt and boots not only complete the ensemble, but they are sure to put her on the right path to find the Wizard of Oddz!  This doll shares the new Rayna face sculpt, has eyelashes and rooted brunette hair that is done up in pigtails.  She also uses the Misaki torso with vampire bride legs.

Go North!  2011 IFDC Convention Companion Doll. Limited Edition of 300 Dolls Worldwide

This beautiful doll is full of goodness and light and wears a lovely gown of chiffon with lace overlay and lace trim.  You will find light pink feather details on the neckline and sleeves of her fabulous gown.  A diamond hair clip glistens in her hair like a crown.  This wonderful doll shares the Isha head sculpt, has rooted strawberry blond hair in long spiral curls and applied lashes.  She uses the Fashion Royalty body.
Go West!  2011 IFDC Exclusive Salesroom Doll. Limited Edition of 300 Dolls Worldwide
While the convention and companion dolls encompass all that is good in the land, this doll is the epitome of evil.  This incredible doll travels through the land of Oddz wearing an ensemble composed of a long, black chiffon skirt, satin corset and jacket with a felt hat and matching veil.  This Integrity Toys exclusive doll uses the “Queen of the Hive” Natalia face sculpt with rooted raven hair done up in a chignon style and applied lashes.  She also uses the Fashion Royalty body.  She is truly “wicked”!

Check out this Fashion Doll music video Ad

A little bird told me about this new music video style ad for the new Nokia pink N8 phone. Looks pretty cool huh?

Any guesses who the dolls featured in the video are? Apparently there will soon be a competition to win them. More information as I get it.
