Say hello to Maverick!
The first doll, which landed on planet Superfrock today, is called Maverick. This rather lovely doll sports the Venus D’Royce clone face. Many fans have likened her looks to the basic Venus, released a couple of years ago. I have to agree… to a degree. However the face-up does have very subtle differences and colouring. Say hello to TickLast night was fantastic fun at the Superfrock event in Paris. On top of all the fun came Tick the exclusive event doll given out to the lucky attendees. Venus celebrates Spring…Well it was the first day of my holiday prior to setting off for Paris to attend the Doll Expo and to celebrate my (mumbles quietly)… 40th birthday! The new clothes I had ordered from Ficondoll only a couple of days ago had arrived, the sun was shining and Venus just wanted to strut her stuff! I must say I am rather impressed with this outfit. The world of the sYbaritesThe people behind Superfrock and the whole sYbarite phenomenon are partners Charles Fegen and Desmond Lingard, themselves lifelong doll fans. Although they both originate from South Africa they now very much based in the UK. Which as a UK resident myself is a rather amazing thing especially as it seems everything I have collected so far has been very much from far overseas (but luckily when the pound was oh so much healthy!). Now I could even pop round to see them were it not for They are both trained in fashion design, which is obviously demonstrated, in the intricately stunning fashions they create for their dolls.
